The
Municipal Light & Power (ML&P) Board of
Directors was established by municipal ordinance
in September 2008.As the governing body of the Utility, the
Board is empowered to operate and manage the
utility on behalf of the Municipality.The nine members of the ML&P Board
are appointed by the Mayor and approved by the
Anchorage Assembly.Board members serve staggered terms; the
expiration date of each director’s term is
listed with each portrait above.
Regular
meetings are typically held the last Wednesday
of each month at noon at the ML&P
Headquarters building, 1200 E.
